Education and Credentials

Ginny Pizzardi is a Marriage and Family practitioner in California. She has been in private practice since 1985. She holds a Master of Science degree in counseling from San Francisco State University. She is also a psychoanalytic training candidate at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California.

Professional Activities

My involvement in psychotherapy and the psychoanalytic psychotherapy community is extensive and serves to enrich my practice:

  • Provided clinical services while with LaCasa de Las Madres, San Francisco shelter for battered woman.
  • Provided clinical services to abused children and adolescents at the California Childrens Home Society.
  • Provided group and individual therapy for drug and alcohol abuse at California Alcohol Treatment Services.
  • Provided group and individual therapy to adult children of alcoholic families at California Alcohol Treatment Services.
  • Provided clinical services while with Stonybrook Shelters For Women.
